Behind the Scenes: Marketing and Bookkeeping Services at T.I.P.S Norman

On February 27th, I had the opportunity to speak at the T.I.P.S. business group meeting in Norman, and it was an experience I won’t forget! Standing in front of a room full of business owners, I got to share my journey, my passion, and why I started Elevate + Inspire Collective—all while connecting with people who truly understand the challenges of running a small business.

My Journey to Elevate + Inspire Collective

I kicked off my talk with a story—one that I know many small business owners can relate to. When my mom and I started a boutique a few years ago, I had to wear all the hats—website designer, social media manager, bookkeeper, and business owner. It was overwhelming, and I quickly realized that staying on top of finances and marketing is one of the biggest struggles for small business owners.

That’s what inspired me to launch Elevate + Inspire Collective—a business dedicated to helping entrepreneurs stay financially organized and build a strong online presence. Because let’s be real: when you're trying to grow a business, you don’t have time to do it all alone.

The Key Message: You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

During my speech, I emphasized two of the biggest stressors for small business owners, marketing and bookkeeping services:

✔ Bookkeeping – Knowing your numbers is the foundation of a successful business. Without organized finances, it’s impossible to plan for growth, manage cash flow, or prepare for tax season. I shared how I take the bookkeeping burden off business owners so they can focus on what they do best.

✔ Marketing – If people don’t know your business exists, they can’t buy from you! I explained how social media, SEO, and a strong online presence are essential for attracting and retaining customers.

The response from the group was amazing! Many business owners in the room shared how they struggle to keep up with bookkeeping and marketing while trying to grow their companies. It was a great reminder that every entrepreneur needs support, and there’s no shame in outsourcing the tasks that take you away from doing what you love.
